Bennett T. Wilcosky is an attorney who uses his knowledge of the criminal justice system to ensure your rights are respected. While earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Sciences, Bennett worked for the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office where he focused his efforts on prosecuting major felony offenses, including a multi-defendant First Degree Murder case. This experience not only reinforced Bennett’s passion for criminal law but also provided him with first-hand exposure to the flaws in America’s justice system. Bennett knew he wanted to defend clients against a broken system, so he promptly enrolled in IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. He studied courses that would help him defend clients both inside and outside the courtroom. Between classes, Bennett received additional hands-on experience working at criminal defense and civil rights law firms across Chicago.
